Questions
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
In many countries, including the US (ESIGN Act) and the EU (eIDAS, as a simple electronic signature), a signature image added with the signer’s intent is generally accepted for everyday agreements. Some documents need a certificate-based digital signature or a witness. If in doubt, check with whoever asked you to sign.
Is my signature saved anywhere?
No. Your signature exists only in this browser tab while you use it. Close the tab and it’s gone.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, then drag it into place on the page.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. UserPDF runs entirely in your web browser. Your files are read and processed on your own device and are never sent to us or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools keep working.
Is it free?
Yes. UserPDF is free to use with no sign-up and no watermark on your files. It’s supported by ads.
